PICMET in Cape Town


PICMET '08 in Cape Town, South Africa


Another successful PICMET Conference was held July 27-31, 2008, in Cape Town, South Africa. The theme of the conference was “Technology Management for a Sustainable Economy.” Approximately 400 people registered from 30 countries, including many influential people from universities, industrial corporations and governments. Keynote speakers included executives from world-class technology developers in South Africa, primarily in the energy and telecommunication fields, as well as the Minister of Science and Technology of the Republic of South Africa.
