Twenty three students and one faculty member were inducted into the Omega Rho International Honor Society on April 12, 2008, at PSU's University Place Hotel and Conference Center.
ETM graduate Dr. Stacey Schultz (Ph.D. '03) was the guest speaker, and she spoke on the topic of commercializing products developed by academics at the Oregon Center for Applied Sciences, where she is president/CEO. Located in Eugene, Oregon, the Center "combines scientific knowledge with technological innovation to create viable products that address real-world problems in public health and education." Dr. Schultz also spoke about how her education and ETM have helped advance her career.
Dr. Schultz was given the "Successful Alumni of the Year" award during the ceremony.
