The Objective of this survey is to develop a comprehensive research guide to Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) education. The academic institutions offering degree (s) in ETM are asked to fill out the survey on the following pages.
| Purpose |
For
the purpose of this study, we are defining ETM as the management of the
technological system including:
Innovative subsystem (management of technological innovation from the idea stage to commercialization)
Human subsystem (management of engineers and scientists including entrepreneurs/ intrapreneurs)
Organizational subsystem (management of technical organizations)
Project/program subsystems (management of technical projects/programs)
Resource subsystem (management of resources in technical environments, using computer models, optimization methods, decision theoretic approaches and other concepts and methodologies)
Implementation subsystem (management of technology implementation in various industries)
Strategy and policy subsystem (management of strategic and policy issues in technology)
